4:46 pm	Hooray! I'm the most bored I swear I'll do a real update on dland sometime soon, and post Seattle stuff. I swear. 1. What does your MySpace quote mean? Um, it doesn't mean anything that I know of. 2. Elaborate on your default photo: Are we still talking about myspace? It's me at Snoqualmie Falls. 3. How many comments do you have? 12 4. What's your current relationship status? So's your face. 5. What exactly are you wearing right now? patchwork skirt of various colors, black t-shirt, my chef coat, black sandals, and my brown work hat 6. What is your current problem? I'm wearing my glasses and that annoys me. My contact lens ripped this morning and so I could only see out of one eye for part of the day, until I developed a headache and nausea and begged Ken to drive me to my apartment to get my glasses and also the packaging that I accidentally had shipped to my apartment instead of to work, because what my apartment really needed was 5,000 tiny plastic bags. So as you can see, I have many problems. 7. What do you love most? my friends, my apartment, my family, food, travel... 8. What makes you most happy? Eating 9. Are you musically inclined? Haha. I normally sleep with a comforter and then a fleece blanket on top of the comforter. If I wake up in the mdidle of the night and I'm cold then somehow, in my half asleep state, I perform some kind of manuever with my legs that completely flips both my blankets completely over so that the fleece is on the bottom and they are still arranged perfectly. I have no idea how I do it, but I CANNOT do it when I'm awake all the way. 25. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity? Linda Blair, when I was a kid. 26. Are you comfortable with your height? Eh. Too tall. 27. What is the most romantic thing someone has ever done for you? Tough call. I've never dated anyone who was especially good at the romance. 28. 9:54 am	I'm home And none too pleased about it. The trip was amazing. Pictures and journal forthcoming, maybe this weekend or next week sometime. I did both flights with no medication and minimal panicking. I did almost everything there is to do in Seattle in four days, so I'm a little bit tired, though I also rested plenty and spent some quality time in the hot tub at my hotel. Time to get situated back at work. Looks like nothing went wrong while I was gone. Does this make me a good manager, or expendable? (1 Comment |Comment on this)

12:36 am	Tomorrow I'm off to Seattle tomorrow! The flight takes off at 5:45 PM and I'll be gone until next Tuesday. I am VERY excited though, as usual, nervous about the plane ride. I like to state with authority that the plane WILL crash, firstly because saying it out loud somehow seems like it makes it less likely that it will actually happen, and also because if the plane DOES crash everyone can say that I foresaw my own death. Woohoo. Aside from all that, I am so very much looking forward to this trip. It should be awesome. (4 Comments |Comment on this)

9:19 am	Today Today is my three year anniversary of graduating from college. I just spent 10 minutes or so reading my dland diary entries from around that day. I can't believe how much has changed. If someone told me that three years from that day I'd be a homeowner, and office manager at a successful and growing chocolate company, and about to go on a vacation by myself, I don't know what I would have thought. Maybe I would have believed them. I remember being completely terrified around that time because my whole life I had an idea of where I would be and what I would be doing in a year, and for the first time I had no clue. The thought of what I might be doing in three years may have made my head explode. I was excited this morning when I realized the date and realized that I made it here and that everything is okay. I have a life that makes me happy, and not knowing exactly where I'll be one year from now isn't so bad. I actually do know exactly where I want to be, so here's hoping! (Comment on this)

9:52 am	high school... Year 2001 1. Who was your best friend? Aurora 2. What sports did you play? Sitting around 3. What kind of car did you drive? I didn't have a car until fall 2001. 4. It's Friday night, where were you? I guess either hanging out with my friends or at home on my computer. Not much has changed. 5. Were you a party animal? No 6. Were you in the "In Crowd"? Haha. Not even sort of. I wasn't even in the out crowd. 7. Ever skip school? I skipped classes occasionally but I only skipped the whole day on senior skip day I think. 8. Ever smoke? Not in high school 9. Were you a nerd? Well, most people were nerdy so I wasn't really anywhere near the top of the nerd scale in the school. But probably by other peoples' standards I was. 10. Did you get suspended/expelled? Never 11. Can you sing the alma mater? No. I think we had one but hell if I know what it was. I only remember the first line of my college's alma mater. 12. Who was your favorite teacher? Senior year? I don't think I really liked any of them. I guess Ms. Drury was still my gym teacher though so....Ms. Drury. 13. Favorite class? If you could go back and do it over, would you? No way. I'm so glad to be done with school. 18. What do you remember most about graduation? It lasted for 17,000 hours. 19. 8:19 pm	Word to the wise The other day my AIM stopped working for some mysterious reason. So I uninstalled it and went to aim.com to download it again. Somehow AIM tricked me into downloading a "beta" version of AIM - Triton. I lived with it for two days before I went insane, uninstalled it, and found normal AIM again. 9:43 am	Cravings The past week or so I've had insatiable cravings for 1) Hamburgers and 2) Fruit. I have no idea what the cause of this is but it is bugging me. Fruit isn't so bad, but constantly wanting a hamburger is getting on my nerves. Other random thing: I forgot to wear my St. Patrick's Day socks. This makes me sad. My aunt gave them to me and I feel like I totally absolutely cannot wear them any other day but St. Patrick's Day, what with their being white socks with four leaf clovers on them. I see them in my sock drawer so often, and sometimes they are one of only a few clean pairs that I have left, and the others have holes in them, but I will wear the ones with holes in them, because it is wrong to wear St. Patrick's Day socks except for on St. Patrick's day. This morning I somehow didn't see them, or didn't think of it, so now I have my brown and white stripey socks on and I will have to wait another 365 days before I get another chance at my St. Patrick's Day socks. 5:16 pm	More interesting customer inquiries Today I got mail. It was a postal money order for $23, and included a note that said "Enclosed is a money order for $23 for a box of chocolate covered strawberries. Please send to >address<." I can't figure this one out. 'Cause first of all, we don't even HAVE chocolate covered strawberries. So mystery #1 is: where did he get the idea that we have chocolate covered strawberries. Mystery #2 is, where did he get the idea that we could ship a box of chocolate covered strawberries. I mean, logically, common sense (I know these are two confusing concepts for the general public), how would you ship a "box" of chocolate covered fresh fruit? How would it get there in any kind of good condition? And the biggest mystery to me is, where did he get the idea that shipping this elusive box of chocolate covered strawberries would result in a total cost of $23? Where did he get that number? So I puzzled over this for a while and tried to come up with the best solution. There was no phone number on the letter. Eventually I wrote him a letter back explaining that I think he must have confused our company with someone else and telling him that I could assist him further over the phone or he could go to our website (that's a shot in the dark, I doubt he has a computer). I enclosed the money order with the letter I sent back. I will be surprised if I hear from him again though. People are weird. (Comment on this)
